1. Overview
IntelliPrompter is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your meeting data belongs to you, and we've built our product to minimize data collection while maximizing your experience.
2. Data Processing
What stays on your device:
- All audio capture and transcription runs locally on your machine
- Meeting transcripts are stored in a local database on your device
- The Whisper transcription model runs entirely on-device
- Knowledge base content and embeddings are stored locally
- No audio recordings are ever saved. Only text transcripts.
What may leave your device:
- When using cloud AI providers (Claude, GPT, Gemini), transcript text is sent to the provider's API for coaching suggestions. This is opt-in and clearly indicated.
- When using corporate integrations (Slack, Jira, etc.), queries are sent to those services through their standard APIs.
- Crash reports (if enabled) include technical error information but never meeting content.
3. Meeting Recording Consent
IntelliPrompter includes a configurable consent notification feature. When enabled, the app can notify meeting participants that transcription is active. Laws regarding meeting recording vary by jurisdiction. It is your responsibility to comply with applicable laws in your location.
We strongly recommend enabling consent notifications, especially in jurisdictions that require all-party consent for recording conversations.
4. Data Retention
You control how long your data is stored. IntelliPrompter allows you to configure retention periods (30 days, 90 days, 1 year, or indefinite) and provides tools to export or delete all your data at any time.
5. Your Rights
- Export all your data at any time via Settings → Privacy → Export All Data
- Delete all your data at any time via Settings → Privacy → Delete All Data
- Disable cloud AI processing at any time by switching to "Local Only" mode
- Disconnect any corporate integration at any time
