Bring Your Own Key. Plug in your own API key from Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT), or Google (Gemini). IntelliPrompter uses it to call the model on your behalf. You pay the provider directly for usage; we charge a flat monthly fee for the software. No markup, no usage caps from us.

Yes. Transcription is always local (Whisper runs on-device). On the Free tier, there is no cloud AI. On Pro BYOK, you can route coaching to Ollama running on your machine instead of a cloud provider. Fully offline, zero data egress.
A meeting might need ten tiny classification calls (cheap, fast) and one long reasoning call (expensive). Smart routing picks the cheapest capable model for each. On Pro BYOK this is automatic and the savings land directly on your AI bill.
No. Audio is transcribed locally in real time and never saved to disk. And you can turn transcription off entirely: choose Ephemeral mode (coaching works, the transcript evaporates when the meeting ends) or Self-only mode, where we only process your microphone and the other participants' audio is never transcribed at all.
Self-only mode largely sidesteps two-party consent rules in most jurisdictions, since you're only processing your own speech. In Full or Ephemeral modes, IntelliPrompter surfaces a quick consent reminder when you're in a two-party state and can auto-post a short notice in the meeting chat. Consent is still your responsibility. Our job is to make the right thing the easy thing.
